Emerald Ash Borer detected in Colorado

Colorado officials confirmed last week the presence of an emerald ash borer infestation in Boulder. This is highly significant as the area is directly in the middle of the largest contiguously growing population of ash trees in the state. Also significant is the fact that the use of any pesticides, in particular the neoncoinoids, is a “hot button” for Colorado’s environmentally conscious residents.
